|I’m Mrs King and I’ve worked at Eastchurch Primary School for more than 10 years. I teach classes when the class teacher has special meetings to go to, lessons to plan or is feeling poorly. This means I can pop up anywhere in school, from Little Owls nursery up to Year 6. I like my job because no two days are ever the same and I get to teach children all the way through their time at Eastchurch Primary School. I am usually at All Saints but sometimes I get to visit St Clement’s school too. I really enjoy helping children understand and find out about what’s happening in the world and hearing their ideas about making our planet a better place to live.|
I regularly cover Badger, Squirrel, Hedgehog and Tiger classes while their class teachers prepare exciting activities for the following weeks. Occasionally I cover the three other classes at St. Clement site if their class teachers are not in school or at meetings. This means that I know nearly all the children by name, although I often muddle some of them up! On a Monday after school and Wednesday lunchtime I help KS2 children with their homework. I also go to All Saints site if needed. I assist Mrs. Seymour in the S.E.N. department, try to keep the library organized, listen to children read and many other tasks in school.
|Hello, I’m a HLTA and I cover classes from Year R to Year 6 across both sites. I regularly cover Badger, Kingfisher, Hedgehog, Cuckoo and Lion classes. I also support Lion Class with their learning in class at Saint Clement site. I like my role as HLTA as I get to meet all the classes as well as having the privilege of working with small groups. I particularly enjoy teaching English, Maths, PE and Geography. It makes my day to see pupils enjoying their learning. When not at school, I can be found dog walking, reading, cooking or in the gym.|
