Each site has it’s own dedicated E-team. The children in the E-team ensure that everyone in the school is saving energy, by having their lights off when they are not being used and closing doors to keep in the heat. The class that saves the most energy receives a certificate at the end of the week. The E-team also monitor how much energy is being used, reading the electricity, gas and water meters and also finding out how much energy has been generated from our solar panels and wind turbine. Our older children use this data to produce reports for governors and set targets for future energy use.
