Term 1

We absolutely loved our Term 1 topic God’s and Mortals! We discovered a fantastical world full of mythical creatures and legendary heroes. We explored Ancient Greece and the Gods of Mount Olympus. Take a look at our gorgeous Greek pottery, magnificent Minotaur heads and the mysterious Pandora’s Box:

Term 2

We have worked up an appetite with this term’s topic Scrumdiddlyumptious! We began the topic with a tasty food test and discovered fantastic fruits and tantalizing treats. We have discovered unusual foods from around the world and have designed and created our own weird and wonderful food from clay. We have loved reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!

Term 3

In Term 3 we will become and engineer, a scientist, a maker of men (iron men, of course!) in our topic Mighty Metals. We are looking forward to reading Iron Man by Ted Hughes.

Term 4

This term we will be learning about creepy crocs, amazing alligators, the deadly assassin bug, and the voracious Venus flytrap in our topic Predator! We cannot wait to read Krindlekrax by Phillip Ridley.

Term 5

In Term 5 we will be learning about the features and characteristics of Earth’s layers in our topic Rocks, Relics and Rumbles. In this exciting topic we will discover the dangerous and ferocious world of natural disasters.
