Here are your activities for today – Friday 5th February 2021.

 

Phonics:  Logon to Phonics hero https://phonicshero.com/ and complete the next activity. Today we will continue to look at singular and plural nouns.  Practice changing the following from singular to plural – brush, latch, toothbrush, box. Find the singular of the noun from the following plurals - Patches, carrots, dishes, watches, frogs.

 

Handwriting:  Login to Letter-join. Select Letter-join easy dictation exercises. List of double-digit numbers and follow the on-screen instructions.

 

GPS:

Practise our spelling words by rainbow writing, clapping the syllables and saying the word in a funny way. Our spelling words this week are – clothes, parents, know, dishes, church

 

Guided Reading: Logon to Purple Mash and read Chapter five of ‘I wish I was a fish’ Complete the missing words activity set as a 2do.

 

English: Today we are writing a poem.   Please see the attached video for your work. Here is a link to hear the author read ‘The sound collector.’  

 

Maths: Today we will interpret pictograms.  Watch this video which will take you though some examples and then complete the worksheet.
