Welcome back to Term 4, we hope you have had a lovely half term.
English: WALT: respond to an illustration.
Today we are starting to look at a new text. We will be introduced to the character and we are going to be detectives and see what we can see in the picture. We will them be asking and writing down what we know about him.
RIC: – Please complete the attached RIC questions about this week’s text. We will share the complete story on Friday during our Storytime Session.
Reading: Log in to Collins e-books and read on of the selected book. Try and have a go at the activity section.
Handwriting:Please log in to Letter-join and have a go at writing the capital letters for a (A), b (B), c (C) and d (D)
Phonics: Please spend some time on phonics hero www.phonicshero.com. Watch Lesson 6 - y fly - YouTube where we are looking at the alternative to the ‘y’.
Maths: WALT: count in 5’s
Today we are going to learn about counting in 5’s. Spr1.7.3 - Count in 5s activity on Vimeo There is no worksheet for today. We would like you follow the activities and then practice counting in multiples of 5 throughout the day.
Welcome to out new topic “Moon Zoom” Throughout the term we are going to be exploring space.
Topic: WALT: Construct simple structures, models or other products using a range of materials. Today we would like you to meet an Alien in training. Talk with an adult at home about what you have seen.
Can you then design and make our own Alien Space Craft using the junk materials that we asked you to collect at the end of last term?
