Today is World Book Day. Draw the character and then listen to the story.

 

English: WALT – write a list

Today we are looking at what some astronauts do when they are in space. We are going to spend some time looking at the experiments that Tim Peake did when he was up in the ISS such ‘Rocket Science’.

 

Have a look at this video where Tim Peake explains what he is doing. This video gives some more information about plants in space. Today you are going to write a list of the things you would take with you if you were to go in space and why. Think about what is needed and what you can grow in space using when you have learnt today.

Reading:   Log in to Collins e-books and read on of the selected book. Try and have a go at the activity section.

 

Phonics: Please spend some time on phonics hero www.phonicshero.com. Watch Lesson 16 - ve give - YouTube where we are looking at ‘ve’

 

Maths:       WALT- measure length using standard units. Watch todays video Spr1.9.2 - Measure length on Vimeo  and then have a go at measuring the items on the worksheet using standard units.
