English:  Today we will be writing a character description. See PDF for your work.

Maths: Today we will be focusing on the 5 times table. Watch this video which will take you though some examples and then complete the worksheet. You can write out your answers you do not need to print out your sheet.  Watch this video: Spr2.2.4 - 5 times-table on Vimeo

Topic Science: WALT Use simple equipment to measure and make observations. Measure how you can throw or roll a ball in metres and centimetres. Practise using rulers/tape measures accurately. Record the distances and try to beat personal bests.

You could throw or roll different types of balls to compare distances travelled. Think about your throwing or rolling technique. Can you find the best technique, or modify the one you are currently using to get their ball to travel further?

Topic Science: Time to exercise. WALT describe  what happens when we exercise. Investigate how our bodies are affected by exercise, comparing how our bodies feel before and after. Take pictures of yourself doing a range of physical activities such as running, walking, jumping, dancing. Group the activities according to how strenuous the exercise was, such as high, low or moderate.

How did you look and sound before and after exercise? Are you sweating? Out of breath? Finding it more difficult to talk? Can you suggest reasons for the changes in your bodies during and following exercise (such as sweating to cool the body down)?
