English – Have a look at the poem ‘Water’ (I will attach it again for you). Have a look at how it starts (I like….) and it describes what can be done and ends (I do like water). We are going to have a go at writing our own poem using the ideas we have collected this week. I am attaching my own go at the poem, see what you can do. Please keep these safe as we will need these tomorrow.
Phonics - Please spend some time on phonics hero. Have a look at the following video which shares the next sound Lesson 33 - Year 1 - YouTube
RIC: Decode the words and write them out with their sound buttons underneath. Read the next part of the story and answer the questions with an adult.
Maths – Watch the video about Ordering groups of objects. Aut1.12.3 - Order groups of objects on Vimeo. Then can you answer the questions on the worksheet below or on Dojo.
Topic – Weather Art Part 1 – We are going to have a look at some painting of weather. I am attaching a selection of paintings by some famous artists that I would like you to have a look at. Can you compare the paintings (is there anything that is the same or different?). Tell an adult what you can see. I want you to be a detective and see of you can spot clues about what season it is showing.
Topic – Weather Art Part 2 – Now it’s time for you to get as creative as you can. I would like you to create a picture showing me the weather. It could be something you paint, draw, or is made from things you have at home. I would like it to show at least one type of weather. Tell us about the season you wish to use as well and add clues in your picture just like the famous artists.
