Session 3 -  Maths Shapes with 4 sides (Number 4)

Watch the video of Mrs Leigh finding out about shapes with 4 sides. Squares and rectangles have 4 straight sides and 4 corners. Can you count the side of a square/rectangle? Can you draw a shape with 4 straight sides? Can you find things around your home or out on a walk that have 4 straight sides?

Session 4- RE - Who Were Jesus’ friends?

Watch the video of Mrs Holmes talking about this. Last week we read the story form the Bible about Jesus choosing his friends, the 12 disciples. This week we continue to learn how Jesus makes friends with everybody, even people that may not be very nice. Jesus helps people realise they have done wrong and always forgives them.

Watch the story Zacchaeus from Luke 19 1-10, by clicking on the link. Everybody was shocked that Jesus wanted to have dinner with Zacchaeus as he was seen as a bad man. He had fallen out with everyone. But Jesus is friends with everyone. He helped Zacchaeus realise he needed to change and forgave him. Christians believe that God will forgive them for their sins, the bad or naughty things they do.

Remember our Christian Value of forgiveness, we forgive others that may upset us or hurt us. It’s even better if they say they are sorry too- Can you think of a time you may have fallen out with a friend just like Zacchaeus had fallen out with people? How did they make it better? Did they say sorry? Did you forgive them? Talk to your grown up about this or draw a picture.

Session 5 - Letter Formation

Today Miss Chamberlain shows you how to form the letter ‘d’’ correctly. Watch the video and practice. Remember to add the smiley face to your best formation.
