If you can, get someone to start testing you on the Year 5/6 statutory spellings. Start with the first 20 words. You can find a list of the words on yesterday’s blog. Let us know how you get on.

 

Reading

Read or listen to chapters 16 & 17 and 18 & 19 of Journey to the river sea. There is also a reading activity in the English lesson today.

 

English

Today you will be thinking about Clovis and his impersonation of Finn. Should Clovis explain who he is? You will be considering both sides of this debate today. Watch the video PowerPoint where you will be guided through the lesson. The final task involves reading or listening to chapter 18 and 19 and answering some questions about each of these chapters.
