English – Have a look at your poem from yesterday. Do you want to make any changes to this? Is there a different word you could use instead? I would like you to write this new poem up in your neatest writing. Once you have done that I would like you to add some pictures around it to help the reader to visualise what your poem is about.

Maths – We have done lots of work on recognising, comparing and ordering numbers 1 to 20. This problem is an appealing way for children to recognise, interpret, describe and extend number sequences. Developing their own patterns, as in the later part of the activity, provides an opportunity for them to justify their own thinking. Next Domino (maths.org)

Topic – Identify patterns in daily and seasonal weather – have another look at a weather forecast for your area. Using the map attached, can you have a go at making up your own weather.

Topic – Weather Mobile – Using some of the symbols that you have used in your weather forecast, can you make these bigger to create your own weather mobile.  You can be as creative as you wish. We would love to see some pictures.
