Topic Science Part 1: - WALT observe and describe what happens to the heart when we exercise.

Take part in a relaxation session and monitor how your breathing feels or changes. How many breaths are you taking per minute? Guided Meditation for Children | Your Secret Treehouse | Relaxation for Kids - YouTube

Measure your pulse rate. At the wrist, lightly press the index and middle fingers of one hand on the opposite wrist, just below the base of the thumb. At the neck, lightly press the side of the neck, just below your jawbone. Count the number of beats in 15 seconds, and multiply by four. That's your heart rate!

Science Part 2: Take part in a workout with Jo Wicks. 5 Minute Move | Kids Workout 1 | The Body Coach TV - YouTube Measure your pulse before and directly afterwards and compare results. What patterns can you see in your results?  Can you explain what you have discovered?

Note: Exercise makes your muscles stronger and your body more flexible. It burns off extra calories from food and also makes you feel good.
