Year 4 Daily Activities Week 5 Monday 1st February
Welcome to today’s learning fun. I hope that you all had a relaxing weekend with your families. Today begins with English activities, followed by Maths, P.E. and finally R.E.
For our grammar sessions this week, we are going to be practising how to use fronted adverbials. Look at 010221.year4.GPS1 and make sure you watch the video clip, by clicking on the link on the pdf or here George Explains...Fronted Adverbials. You will then be writing five sentences which include fronted adverbials, after looking at some examples.
Purple Mash 2Do Read Chapter 4 of ‘The Last Selkie’ and then answer Chp.4 Quiz questions
Today you will be proof reading and editing the chapter that you wrote last week. Watch this video for guidance. Monday Video PPt Writing Activity
Today’s lesson is all about Unit and Non-unit fractions. Watch this https://vimeo.com/502315136 which explains how to do this easily and then have a go at the below. Complete as many questions as you can, but please don’t worry if there are ones you are not sure of.
Today we are going to be reflection upon the actions of a modern Christian, the Archbishop of York. We will think about WHAT he did, WHY he did it, and what effect it may have had. This will help us to remember how real-life Christians are trying to create the world Jesus wanted. Read the sheets carefully, reflect on the questions highlighted in yellow, and remember to explain your responses in as much detail as you can. See RE Year 4 Lesson L5
Have a great home learning Monday.
