For our grammar sessions this week, we are going to be practising how to use fronted adverbials. Look at 010221.year4.GPS1 and make sure you watch the video clip, by clicking on the link on the pdf or here George Explains...Fronted Adverbials. You will then be writing five sentences which include fronted adverbials, after looking at some examples.

Today’s lesson is all about Unit and Non-unit fractions. Watch this https://vimeo.com/502315136 which explains how to do this easily and then have a go at the Maths Activity Sheet below. Complete as many questions as you can, but please don’t worry if there are ones you are not sure of.
Don’t forget your daily 5-10 minutes of times tables practice, using either Purple Mash (Monster Multiplication 2Do), Times Tables Rockstar or Top Marks Hit the Button Hit the Button - Quick fire maths practice for 5-11 year olds (topmarks.co.uk)
P.E.
This week you will be competing at home in the Team Theme Virtual Winter Sports Week. Last week you limbered up and got some practice in. This week you do it for real today and on Wednesday.
Please practice and compete at home and send us your best times and scores on the score sheet which will be in the resources on Wednesday. We will then submit your scores to Team Theme – you will be competing against Year 4 pupils from other schools around Kent. There are certificates to be won in each of the categories.
There are 7 events for you to take part in, click here to see each event demonstrated by some of our favourite Team Theme coaches. Don’t forget to check the video link to see how to complete each event safely.
You have 30 seconds to complete as many repetitions as you can, apart from the Ski Sit when you must just time how long you can hold the position! Good luck and have fun!
R.E.
Today we are going to be reflection upon the actions of a modern Christian, the Archbishop of York. We will think about WHAT he did, WHY he did it, and what effect it may have had. This will help us to remember how real-life Christians are trying to create the world Jesus wanted. Read the sheets carefully, reflect on the questions highlighted in yellow, and remember to explain your responses in as much detail as you can. See RE Year 4 Lesson L5
Have a great home learning Monday.
