Today’s Activities

Today begins with English activities, followed by Maths, P.E. and P.H.S.E.

 

GPS   

Our spelling sessions this week will focus on adding suffixes beginning with vowel letters to words of more than one syllable. Read through the spelling rules and then complete the sentences by adding in the missing spellings (030321.year4.GPS3).                                                                                                                                                     

Reading Activity

‘School Swap’  Chp.6 and Chp.6 Quiz set as a 2Do on Purple Mash.

 

Writing Activity

Today you will be writing descriptive sentences about jungle animals. Watch today’s video lesson and choose to record your sentences on the resources sheet or in your home learning books. But you will need to view the resources sheet, even if you don’t write on it.   Wednesday Video PPt Writing Lesson  and Wednesday Resource Sheet.

 

Maths

P.H.S.E. 

Today we are going to think about the different characteristics found within a group of friends. Work through the PowerPoint then complete the Animal Characteristics Sheet. Take the opportunity to reflect on your feelings as we start to think about returning to class later this term. Remember that you can contact your teachers if there is anything at all you need help with, or just want to let us know, ahead of the return to class.
