Today’s Activities
Welcome to today’s learning fun. I hope that you all had a relaxing weekend with your families. Today begins with English activities, followed by Maths, P.E. and finally R.E.
GPS
For our grammar sessions this week, we will be practising when to use apostrophes. Today, we are going to revise why and when we use apostrophes for contraction. Please read through Monday Grammar pdf and complete the tasks (which can be found on the PowerPoint). Reading Activity
Purple Mash 2Do Activity. Read Chapter 1 of Time Freeze. This week you will be reading the story, ‘Time Freeze’ which is about Sid and Mina, a brother and sister who are always getting on each others nerves. One day Sid finds a green metal disc with special powers. Find out what the special power is and what mischief Sid gets up to
Writing Activity
Today’s lesson begins with reading the next few pages of our class novel, ‘Arthur and the Golden Rope.’ Your main activity will be to present the key events from these pages as a comic strip. See Monday Writing.
Maths
Today’s lesson is all about dividing 2-digit numbers by 1-digit numbers. Watch this https://vimeo.com/492601303 which explains how to do this easily and then have a go at the Maths activity Sheet below. Complete as many questions as you can, but please don’t worry if there are ones you are not sure of.

Today’s learning question is ‘How do modern Christians show that they are following Jesus?’ You will look back at the story of ‘The Good Samaritan’ and think about how you can be like the good Samaritan. RE Lesson-Acting Like a Good Samaritan and RE Bible Extract.
