Today’s Activities
Welcome to today’s learning fun. I hope that you all had a relaxing weekend with your families. Today begins with English activities, followed by Maths, P.E. and finally R.E.
GPS
We are going to be practising to use fronted adverbials again this week. Rewrite the sentences from 080221.year4.GPS1task, adding in a suitable fronted adverbial. Don't forget to punctuate the fronted adverbial with a comma! If you want an extra challenge, choose your OWN fronted adverbials to add, instead of choosing from the adverbial bank. Reading Activity
Purple Mash 2Do Read Chapter 1 of ‘Planet Earth’ and then answer Chp.1 Quiz questions.
Writing Activity
Today we will read some of Arthur’s story and find out what happens when he asks for Thor’s help to relight the town’s Great Fire. Maths
This week we are going to be working on Equivalent fractions. Watch this https://vimeo.com/504289061 which explains how to do this a bit more and then have a go at the Monday Maths Activity Sheet below. Complete as many questions as you can, but please don’t worry if there are ones you are not sure of.
