Session 1 – Phonics

We continue to use phase 2 and phase 3 phonemes, digraphs and trigraphs to segment and blend to read and record words and phrases. Today, Mrs Holmes uses all the sounds to segment and bend to build and record words. Join in and show your teacher how clever you are!

Session 2 – English

Watch the video of Mrs Holmes, she has a letter from Charlie. He would like some help with ideas for getting Lola to try some foods. Let’s read his letter and see if we can think of ways to help him.

Session 3 -  Maths - Counting back from 10

Watch the video of Mrs Leigh ordering a number line to 10 and using it to count back from 10. Listen to the song 10 in the bed. Can you act out the song with some of your teddies?

Can you use a number line to show what is happening too?

Extra Fun - Fruit

Can you try and eat a different piece of fruit every day this week and compare the seeds? Which fruit was your favourite and why?
