We are going to practise apostrophes for possession (when a thing belongs to something) today. Please collect some different objects from around your house, making sure that they belong to different people.
Hold the object up and say who it belongs to. For example:
It's Mum's purse.
It's Oscar's toy dragon.
Then write this down on paper as a sentence. Once you have written the sentence, check that your apostrophes are in the correct place. Please write sentences for at least 6 objects.
Reading Activity
Today you will reading a Viking new paper report. You have 2 options today, you can either read and answer questions about Viking Newspaper Report or the more challenging Viking Longship Newspaper Report.
